I am just a guy who likes watching movies (particularly animated films). That’s it.
Let’s get the issues out of the way:
- I still think it would have been better if Chip and the other Rescue Rangers (outside of Dale) were 2D instead of cel-shaded 3D models (even if it was rigged) because even though it doesn’t look bad, it does create a feeling of Disney not giving the filmmakers the budget to commit to a true Roger Rabbit-style hybrid with 2D main characters in the real world.
- The film acting like…
The people behind this movie were based for putting Oswald the Lucky Rabbit on the TV in the background rather than Mickey. He deserves the love. 🥲
But yeah, this movie was really good outside of that third eye effect (it looks more uncanny than that “Hi I’m Paul” monkey from Jimmy Neutron).
This movie is what Martin Scorsese would consider cinema. It even inspired Steven Spielberg to become a film director. I am even thinking about starting a religion based on Barnyard (don’t know if I should make “no-helpian” real). Everything about this movie is executed perfectly. The animation is the best ever made (if you think otherwise you are in denial), the story is told in a unique structure that can be considered inspiring and life-changing, the comedy makes you roll…
