this movie is so good because its such an accurate depiction of a short, yet passionate fling. Not gonna lie, both of these people come off as totally pretentious and annoying, but that's what makes it what it is. When you have a deep connection similar to this with someone, It is super hard to not be really annoying to any outside spectators.
I really wish I had watched this even earlier in quarantine, because even when I wasn't paying full attention, i was completely transported to their world. I forgot about everything regarding my own life.
Also the scene at the end where they're leaving reminds me of every one of my trips to see my friends. Sitting on a train, thinking about how amazing of a time it was, yet how fucking depressed you are, because it's over.
