Judy Holliday asking Peter Lawford You ever think of getting a parrot? as he's desperately trying and failing to seduce her is one of the funniest moments I've seen in memory. Holliday is infectiously joyous in It Should Happen to You. I'm convinced it's impossible not to have an ear-to-ear smile while watching her marvel and beam whenever she sees her signs. This is Jack Lemmon's first role, and it would be impossible to tell seeing how assured and charming he is on screen.
