I know I’ve seen many say that The Elephant Man is the least Lynchian film from David Lynch. Honestly, I don’t know where I’d put it on a sliding scale of most-to-least Lynchian in his filmography, but The Elephant Man isn’t lacking in attributes that make it Lynchian. Does Madeline Kahn give the best debut performance ever? Okay, “best” is a big claim, but surely she gives one of the funniest performances ever in her debut.
