Ok I could watch Michelle Yeoh do just about anything and everything so I definitely enjoyed this one. Went into it blind, no trailer— nada! And was overwhelmingly thrilled with this acid trip of a movie. Not crazy about multiverse plots but the comedic consistency kept me happily engaged.

Patty frickin Jenkins DOES that in this film. Happy I randomly found this on Netflix because Charlize Theron ATE. I was captivated by every scene, her performance stunned me, literally. Lady Gaga is Lady Macbeth— she slays the role even though I preferred her performance in the second half. #TakeoutTheTrash. The story was rich enough to be as long as it was and in a very non camp way, this would be an Oscar snub if there are no noms tbh. I plan to watch this movie like 8 more times.

I’m ALWAYS a fan of Spanish in movies without subtitles because it’s 2022, been preaching this one for ages. Now, Ansel Elgort was a killer Tony and when you remember Tony is Romeo, he kinda fits the bill too well— and he’s a great cantero.
