Aaron Murray’s review published on Letterboxd:
COVID movies are becoming a little tired for me now so I naturally just wasn't that hyped for this one. That said, I can't believe just how much fun I had with it. The camera work is endlessly enjoyable to watch and although the story goes in some really silly directions, the balance in tone keeps it from becoming too much of an absurdity. It doesn't quite have the satirical edge that Scream has (though that could be blamed for not having a vet like Wes Craven in the director's chair). Still, it trades those moments for a competent and stylish little slasher film that doesn't waste a single second.
