Shocktober 2021 viewing #45: This movie is ridiculous but also very entertaining. Most of the budget likely went to hair gel. Britney Murphy is great. She doesn't just scream and run away from the killer, she goes kinda crazy and tries to bite them at one point. It's not afraid to have fun and go off the wall.

Nicolas Cage fights a cult and a gang of monsters called "The Legally Distinct From the Cenobites Gang." I might be mistaken on the name of the gang. It sounds fun but it is not. It would be gruesome and grim if it wasn't so incredible boring. 30 minutes in I decided to start folding laundry but the movie was too boring even for that. Every line of dialogue was whispered, almost daring me to fall asleep. Visually dark and murky so fights with monsters or whoever seem inconsequential.
