• John Wick: Chapter 4

    John Wick: Chapter 4

  • Creed III

    Creed III

I think there are some flaws with the pacing and development of the story but it really just did not bother me too much here. This movie is absolutely electric and the fights are maybe the best they’ve ever been.

  • Skinamarink

PROFOUNDLY boring. I didn’t think it was possible to be this bored. There’s nothing here, this movie is a massive, juicy nothing burger.

  • Bones and All

    Bones and All

Honestly can’t decide if I adore or despise this movie so here we are. What a trip 💀

  • Glass Onion

    Glass Onion

Glass Onion is terrific. For me it’s 100% lives up to the first and even surpasses it in some aspects. I think this is funnier and a little sharper than the first. These characters are so interesting to follow, every single one of them has some level of complexity that all adds to this elaborate story. Daniel Craig is so damn delightful, I could watch Benoit Blanc do literally anything and be completely entertained. Edward Norton and Janelle Monáe are…

  • A Quiet Place

    A Quiet Place

Celebrating Halloween by highlighting my favorite horror movie. Please watch a quiet place. It’s spectacular. y’know what’s frustrating, I always wait last minute to prepare a costume and now I’ve totally screwed myself but I guess it is what it is. I’m thinking maybe like a bedsheet that I cut eyeholes into. Little Charlie Brown nod. Halloween is slightly overrated imo but I do love Fall so it sorta balances out. Like if I had to rank the big 3 is would certainly be Christmas-Thanksgiving-Halloween. Halloween just doesn’t have that same vibe that the others do ya dig? Anyway…Happy Halloween 😏

  • Black Adam

    Black Adam

Dwayne Johnson gives his best performance here, he’s extremely entertaining as Black Adam and I really can’t wait until we get to see him again. The movie suffers from some pretty lame and generic story beats that some super hero films fall victim to, a painfully forgettable villain, and its fair share of eye rolling moments. BUT the action is absolutely thrilling and the jokes land quite often. One thing that was really noticeable in this one was the costume…

  • She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

    She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

I’ve been an advocate for phase 4, I’ve either loved or thoroughly enjoyed pretty much every project so far. But She-Hulk left me feeling frustrated after every week, I honestly don’t know if I can even say I “enjoyed” a single episode.

I’ll start with the positives which are Tatiana Maslany, Ginger Gonzaga, and Josh Segarra. Those 3 were really great and honestly the only reason I laughed at all throughout this show. Episode 8 was probably the best but…

  • Smile

Damn near every single jump-scare got me. I’m exhausted.

  • Joker

I don’t have to much to add I just wanna point out how insanely cool this new poster thing is. I’m geeking out, I can’t wait to change everything. Thank you letterboxd 😻

  • Don't Worry Darling

    Don't Worry Darling

One of my most anticipated movies of the year was unfortunately a slight disappointment. The drama surrounding this movie sort of worried me but I didn’t really think it would have to big on an impact on the film itself but oh boy. The discourse surrounding this one is wild. Florence Pugh is simply one of the best working right now and she just dominates here. Harry Styles is not awful and I didn’t really see what everyone else is…

  • See How They Run

    See How They Run

Really funny! Sam Rockwell was my personal standout but the entire cast was really delightful. It was slightly predictable but I don’t think it was trying to be some complex murder mystery, it didn’t take itself to seriously which I really appreciated. Surprised to see this isn’t getting much attention, whodunnits are always so much fun.
