A romantic weepy that has no surprises( it literally has Ed Sheeran’s Thinking out Loud playing at a wedding) but really works because Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin are very likeable leads and you genuinely care about their characters. It’s a bit surface level and it doesn’t handle all of the characters particularly well but it got the emotional response it wanted from me.

The Boss Baby 2017
I really have no idea who this was made for. The story is too confusing for kids to fully understand and the film itself is too silly and childish for adults. I tried to work out what was going on in the first 15 minutes and then realised it wasn’t worth the effort so just sat a bit bored for the rest of it. There’s the occasional okay scene but nothing else particularly positive.

The Emoji Movie 2017
Product Placement: The Movie
The movie’s message is the world would be a better place if everyone used only emojis to communicate. That tells you how dumb this film is. Mixed with annoying pop music and unfunny jokes and you’ve got a complete misfire.
