    Spider-Ham: Caught in a Ham

    ★★½

SPIDER-HAM: CAUGHT IN A HAM auto-played on the Blu-Ray after the post-credit scene wrapped up. It's a cute peek at Peter Porker's world before the supercollider sucked him into 1610B with some meta-cartoony jokes but the puns grew old quickly 2.5*

Rewatched SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE to see if my ~5yo would want to see AtSV. One potty break & a lot of questions made me think the ~2.5hr sequel might be another at-home watch in a few months. The original is still fantastic with a better soundtrack than I remembered 5*

I think I need to watch more of Reichardt's films. WENDY & LUCY is a brilliant film in a tight 80 minutes. I felt such anxiety when Williams was separated from her dog early in the film; I didn't realize most of the film was her trying to get her back. Heartbreaking ending

    Pieces of a Woman

    ★★★

I was not prepared for the ~30-min oner at the beginning of PIECES OF A WOMAN—a harrowing delivery scene w/ a horrible end. The story felt disjointed (that ending courtroom scene?) & I was often reminded of the much better Manchester by the Sea. 3* #DLMOscarChallenge 28/56 88/118
