This movie will NEVER GET OLD. NEVER. I mean, I’ve rewatched it 7 times this year alone. The jokes will always land, and it’ll always make me happy. It’s my number one comfort and the thing that I relate to the most at this phase in my life, I’ve loved since I was a child and I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving it.
Wes Anderson’s style is so well suited to stop motion animation. Don’t get me wrong, I love his live action films too, but stop motion fits him best, at least to me. Honestly though, if I had to pick a director to make a film about my life, Wes Anderson would be one of my first picks. Maybe that’s why I love him and his films so much, they just... click with me.
Also just know that every time I log this I am either sad and in need of validation, or in the midst of a breakdown. Fantastic Mr. Fox has truly seen me at my worst!
