i'm not someone who can easily dole out a list of their top five favorite "things" because i honestly think so many things are Very Good, but after rewatching this movie yet again i can confidently say it's one of my favorites of all time.
it's tragic. it's funny. it's sweet. it's beautifully shot. it shows the healing power of creativity. it's a tribute to moviemaking that isn't too over the top. the tone could have been really dark and mean spirited in different hands but instead the movie feels like a warm hug
as a lonely island superfan i'm gonna sound biased, but beyond my love for tli as writers and comedians, think they have a real, REAL talent as a production team and i can't wait to see what cool projects come from them in the future
