barry keoghan just has the perfect face for playing devious, unhinged characters. it’s those eyes.
it’s set in 2006, so of course there is great music. and i just love the cinematography in this. very pleasing to the eye. also love the font used in the opening credits.

idk this was okay. it didn’t blow me away; at no point did i think good rom-coms are SO back ya’ll! (although they did have the signature fun montage at the end, so i give it props for that)
only a few of the comedy bits landed for me (like the cookie bit and the spider bit). i also enjoyed the titanic scene and the harbor rescue scene…but also probably only because…
