Not as thrilling as the premise would suggest although there’s a nice shock near the end. The story strikes me as something that would have made a good Twilight Zone episode. Olivia de Havilland runs around a lot.
Richard Crenna is a professional burglar who must make one last score to break free from his life of crime and live happily ever after with Angie Dickinson. The timeworn plot line is competently handled. This would have made for a pleasant Saturday night television viewing back in 1971.
