The Holdovers 2023
Very satisfying feel-good drama, the kind that they don't make much these days. Movies exploring student-teacher dynamics are my favorite so no surprise I LOVED this. Instant Christmas classic for me and a new comfort film on my list. Up there with Good Will Hunting, Edge of Seventeen, Taare Zameen Par, Dead Poets Society, etc. Paul Giamatti is a gem, really is nice to see him as the lead for once. And really loved Dominic Sessa, hope we see more of him in the future.
