Death on the Nile 2022
Sorry to Academy Award winner Kenneth Branagh but this was just visually unappealing and had the worst casting luck I’ve seen for a film in recent memory.

Nightmare Alley 2021
Featuring stunning cinematography from Dan Lausten, Nightmare Alley is certainly a visual achievement. It also has the poetic romanticism accompanied by every Del Toro picture but I feel cutting the run time down about 20 minutes would’ve made this stronger.
Also a shame DiCaprio had to bail on this one because Bradley seemed a little static in this role. This movie could have been elevated with an unpredictable, left-field casting for Stanton.
As for the rest of the cast?
They could’ve phoned this one in but damn did they bring style and atmosphere. -
Titanic 1997
I’ve added this to my favorites quite simply because this film has everything I could ever want from a cinematic experience.
Also I saw the 3D theatrical release in middle school with my then girlfriend.
I had only seen the censored TV version so I had no idea boobs were on full display. Also realized boobs did nothing for me so this film encouraged my gay awakening.
