  This film moves to tears more and more each time I watch it. It hits a part of me that films rarely hit. I swear, I'm not a big crier. This honestly might be my favorite film of all time.

  One of the best films I have ever seen. Like, if you were to take all the things I like about movies and put them into one, The Apartment would be what you get. Wow. Can't believe it took me 21 years to see this.

  My second time watching this. I think I've pinpointed more why the film doesn't quite work for me. It isn't necessarily the plot structure and the eventual decision made by Kristen Stewart's character to stick by the manipulative Harper that completely leaves me unfulfilled and unconvinced in the end. After all, I don't think Harper is a character completely void of redemption or anything like that. She is flawed, for sure, but you see the source of such flaws and…
