i watched this along with some folks in the hit factory discord. you should not watch it ever. it is awful.

  • Saw II

    Saw II

have seen this one a few times. looking forward to never watching it again.

    Stop Making Sense

the greatest concert film ever made, and yet...far more a cinematic experience than a musical one. demme's camera is always targeting the human emotion, the minor facial tics, the small moments of communion between players. it's the stuff of pure cinema, and a means of experiencing the talking heads that no live show could ever grant you. at once about the magical act of solidarity that producing music can be and all the individual experiences of making notes, moving bodies, hitting marks that each performer must make alone in order to produce the coherent whole.
    absolutely wondrous in imax.
