I have absolutely no attachment to Studio Ghibli movies like it seems a lot of people on this app do. I was never exposed to it as a kid. So everything I’ve watched so far has been from my current perspective as a 30 year old. I very much wish I could have experienced these movies as a kid. This has nothing to do with Kiki specifically, but as I’ve gone through a handful of Ghibli movies I’m just struck by how beautiful and imaginative they are.
I love everything about this world. The detail of how every town just has a witch in residence is hilarious and incredible. The look of the town and characters is amazing. The stakes of this are so low, but man do I love watching characters just be nice to each other. And animals too!
