    Fables make great movies… and the decision to present Spencer as a fable (from a true tragedy) worked wonderfully well.

    Kirsten Stewart is worthy of many awards, as is Jonny Greenwood, and I’d love to see some recognition for Sean Harris too.

    One particular scene in this movie – of Diana, William and Harry playing a game by candlelight – is among the most affecting I’ve seen all year. It’s one of many wonderful set-pieces perfectly captured by Pablo Larrain’s camerawork.
