AdamAB’s review published on Letterboxd:
Watching Bullet Train is like eating an indulgent chocolate fudge cake. The first piece is euphoric but eventually you begin to feel violently sick. It’s a film that luxuriates in its eccentricity and is so self aware as to become frustrating. The picture is undoubtedly enjoyable, with some frenetic action sequences punctuated by slick direction and a healthy dose of side-splitting gags. Its a pity that the once funny jokes eventually wear thin and the third act is marred by abysmal CGI. Bullet Train is a fun ride; I just wish the journey wasn’t quite so turbulent.
