This was so dumb. Maybe it wasn't in 2004, but it is in 2022. Maybe this type of movie has been done so many times that it's no longer interesting.
This movie is so subtle and unassuming and yet it works its way into your mind and maybe even your soul and it won't leave. It doesn't make sense. Or maybe it does. Maybe this movie isn't just about falling in love, maybe watching it feels like falling in love feels.
And I thought I didn't like romance movies.
This movie worked for me. It's got action sequences that remind me of The Dark Knight and a crazy premise like Inception. It's not as good as either of those, but it's enough to make it a great movie.
