"when I was young I suffered from mental illness, and then I got better"
with the social conscious today putting an emphasis on how capitalism has failed people with disabilities and mental illness, I wonder how much responses would change from those watching in 2005 to 2021.
a depiction of mental illness not the acceptable mild anxiety or depression. artistically, it's vulgarity is used as a reflection of Peter's mind with simple drawings as an outlook on the complexity of self he cannot recognize. his thoughts are focused inwardly, to a point that may appear selfish if he had not been ostracized to begin with.
or it's a crude little short film! you're probably right.
