It gets pretty self aware of the Tora-san formula about midway though the film. So that's fairly interesting. I liked the section where his family travels. The monkeys made me very happy.
Love how casually they talk about things like the meaning of life, what is and isn't art, and love over the dinner table. Very admirable.
A pretty nice and comfy installment.
