I feel like I just witnessed a once in a lifetime experience. This is my first exposure to this story and it was one of the most riveting stories I've ever seen. This film might genuinely be the most epic film I've ever seen. Every aspect is done to perfection, especially the performances. Everyone was incredible but Chalemet, Zendaya, and Austin Butler put up their best work. Denis brought this world to life and told this story so perfectly that…

As a big Matthew Vaughn fan, I was pretty disappointed by this. The script was an absolute disaster and the CGI could certainly be better. However, it's hard for me to dislike a movie that just does whatever it wants. Does an action scene on skates on a floor covered in oil make any sense? No. Do I love that he just did it anyways? Definitely

Does this feel like am extended Call of Duty mission? Maybe. Does it bother since it's nearly as thrilling as the first film? Absolutely not. Scott Adkins has his own brand of DTV action movies that puts a lot of theatrical films to shame. One day we will get a theatrical Akdins film and I'll be there day one. I'll probably be the only one in the theatre but I'll still be there.

A beautiful examination of marriage and grief through a thrilling courtroom drama. The film cuts into some deep emotions that are perfectly realized through the performances. I've never even heard of Sandra Huller before this year and she gave 2 massive performances but this one here might the my favorite of last year. I was in awe of her in so many scenes. Could have maybe cut 10 minutes or so but nevertheless, this is one stunning and powerful movie.

I unapologetically love Tom Cruise. He's a true filmmaker who does everything in his power to entertain his audience in the most satisfying way. He continously teams up with directors that utilize his skills to the maximum. Top Gun Maverick tops the original in every way. It's got heart, amazing visuals, great performances, and just enough 80s cheese to remind us of the original. Finally, by the end, we get one of the most thrilling third acts since, well Mission: Impossible Fallout. Probably my most anticipated of the year, and it delivered

The new highest rated movie on Letterboxd, how can this not end up underwhelming and overrated. This is how!! It was everything everyone said it was! I can't remember the last time I laughed and felt so much joy watching a film. Yeah it's weird, (multiple people walked out) but each moment worked in the context of the film. Every strange moment even had an emotional payoff by the end. I really hope this film stays popular by awards season,…
