God I'm so fucking happy guys. If anything this second watch just made me love it more. And I actually wanna see it again! I hope it holds up that third time!

Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has enough color and pizazz to liven up this whole drab and boring franchise. He does everything humanly possible (within the restrictions he undoubtedly still had to work) to make this his film. Everything is up for a joke, but he knows when to be serious. Sure, the themes of familial ties are really blunt and shit, but hey, it's a kids' movie, and it really doesn't detract at all.

Some of the dialogue is really clunky and I can't forgive that but fuck those colors and fucking Kurt Russell and Yondu make me want to.
