Wayyyyyyy ahead of it’s time - cyber security, digital footprints, and of course the all knowing and all seeing satellites eyes of the US government. Also and this really has nothing to do with the actual film but it’s now apart of my head canon - I do like the theory that Gene Hackman is playing Harry Caul his character from The CONVERSATION.
