This is Wes Anderson's magnum opus, it's fully realized in terms of style and contains lots of interesting and complex characters. As a kid, I just remember loving Ash as a character and just obsessing over him because I saw so much of myself in him as kid. This movie just fills me with such an awesome vibe and I could just watch it all day. It's surprisingly subtle for a kid's movie and doesn't try to spoon-feed the message into kids, the film SHOWS it to them which is rare for any type of children's film.
