Energetic and appearing to be alive, as he sits in awe mystified. So beautiful he shutters to imagine wings blackened flutter. The shadows and reflection bring him back through tunnels of time and memories realign. He's been forlorned and scorned. Mistaken for the lies he's taken in. He's created, sculpted and revolted against the darkness. These people are incorrigible in their disdain, Edward now knows, love is pain. A simple, and not so simple fairy tale that shows through color, nuance and much discomfort that some do not fit into this cookie cutter world. Society is a gas. Light the match.
I had been waiting years to see LAMB. We finally got a month of Prime and this was the perfect film for the wife and I to watch together. We can't have anymore kids due to the cancer battle and Odin, our dachshund, has been like a surrogate child. I knew we'd vibe hard on this film.
The reviews have been mixed and I do believe it requires a certain mindset and mood to get you wrapped up in it.…
"Eckhardt, think about the future."
Axis Chemicals, Made it Ma, top of the world Cinema. I love the scene where Jack is yanking the pulleys and spinning the large valves and just wrecking the system. It's such a gangster funhouse crimeboss doublecross. Be mine, Mister salvation. Highly toxic chemical bath and the aftermath.
Bruce putting a couple of roses down for Mom and Dad is an incredibly goth Burton touch that works so well. Honestly the balance of Dark Knight…
Don't get me wrong, this film is a perfect, modern blacksploitation masterpiece.
But Tarantino is an embarrassment in so many interviews I struggle to like him at all as a human being. Please watch this and as many interviews you can with him. It's so shocking and cringe it's hard to get through.
Amber and I were fresh from the hospital after an oophorectomy (July 19). At this late stage in the cancer treatment journey it felt as though we were becoming, at once, indoctrinated into a new way of living, while increasingly mourning the loss of a life once lived or one that might have been.
She had been fasting and was in need of sustenance. We stopped into Firehouse Subs. The kid at the register asked me my favorite horror movie.…
"It's getting late. I could use a drink."
The score hits instantly like firing up a Commodore 64. Northern California. Samhain Sinema. Stonehenge triptych microchip headdrip. Santa Mira is a zoo of oddities. Cundey on the photography and Carpenter and Howarth on what is my favorite score of the franchise. I love the cast, script, the vibe and direction to gushing effect. It's so Halloween it hurts.
The hobo doesn't even get to finish his easy cheese (snack mate) sandwich…
