Zack Snyder's Justice League

Zack Snyder's Justice League ★★★★

It's a different film than the disaster that released in theaters during 2017. There are entire new character arcs, story elements, worldbuilding, set-ups, even scenes that were in the 2017 film have been completely reworked in execution. This may not be everyone's type of movie, but it definitely is so much movie. For me, I really enjoyed it. It's hard not to feel a sense of magic with this movie, I doubted its existence for quite some time and now I get to actually see it come to fruition. I'm glad I was wrong back then. Beyond that, it's just a good film. Cyborg, Superman, the Flash, and Lois Lane have really rewarding character arcs and there's much more to the story now.

The film looks brilliant too, I was initially skeptical about the 4:3 aspect ratio for a project like this, but it makes so many of the shots look like epic comic book frames. As a whole, this film is just such an event to experience. There's a lot of heart and passion put into all of it, it kind of makes me excited about superhero movies again. This movie does have many flaws and I could understand why someone wouldn't like it, yet I have to say that this is one of the most human superhero movies ever made and my favorite superhero film since Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
