Best Oliver stone movie and it encapsulates the year 1994 so well.

The shots of the water are so hypnotizing and with Johnny Greenwood’s overtones scoring underneath those shots it’s genuinely one of the most beautiful 12 seconds in any movie.
And the actual movie is just so fucking raw and shows Joaquin and Phillips most honest and deep stroked performances I can’t even watch other Paul Thomas Anderson films anymore because they just make me want to re watch this.

Most underrated movie ever u kan watch it 1000 times and still find something new.
Not the objective best Kubrick but a personal favorite due to its endless re watch ability and I think a lot of it’s disconnect with the audience is due to the real issues of jealousy that it makes one reflect on. 10/10/10/10
