This is simply one of the greatest films of all time. This was really the movie that kicked off the slasher sub genre of horror movies. Norman Bates is one of the scariest serial killers of all time because at face value, he’s just a socially awkward, friendly guy who lives with his mother. He doesn’t fit the traits of your regular serial killer.

    The Bad:
There are two problems I wanted to talk about. First, since this film takes place in the future…

This is a tricky film to review for me. On the one hand, when this film came out, nothing like it had ever been made. There was a mystery that surrounded it about if it was real or not. The film makers were extremely clever with how they marketed the film to make it seem as real as possible.

One the other hand, once you’ve figured out the gimmick and that the events in this film didn’t actually happen, it’s…
