That final scene between Chiron and Kevin, which starts in the restaurant and culminates in Kevin's apartment...I have lived within that moment. So much want and need and pain and silence and struggle with vulnerability. This is an evocative and heartbreaking story that expresses more through eyes, and looks given and shared, than words could ever do justice.
Like the song in the film says, just trying to stay "one step ahead of misery".
